  • Anthony Lawton B.A. ACMA.

    Chief Executive Officer & Lead Innovator

    Anthony is a former NHS RightCare Associate, experienced in the areas of Change, Finance (Qualified Management Accountant) and Commercial Innovation. He has a track record in both the Private and Public sectors (health 16+ years).

    Meaningful.Global, (a Front Foot MI company), has been 20+ years in the making. Listening and constantly looking to improve things, Anthony is always generating lots of innovation and inspiration.

    He has been studying and practising behaviour change for over 20 years (working for and having relationships with several brilliant Professors in the change landscape).

  • Sue Thomas RN, RM BA (Hons)

    Lead Consultant

    Sue has been involved in Long-Term conditions and specifically neurology services since the late 1980’s Her own clinical background is in nursing, and she has held leading national roles since 1991 including 18 years as national policy and practice adviser for long-term conditions at the Royal College of Nursing.

    In 2008, Sue supported the neurological charities to develop a unique commissioning support service, Neurological Commissioning Support (NCS) in an attempt to influence health service commissioning. The Department of Health provided eight years of funding to support this initiative, which provided scrutiny into how services were being delivered and how service change needed to occur. This work led to her involvement in several national strategic reviews including All Party Parliamentary Groups, the Public Accounts Committee and the Audit Commission.

  • Ruth Stross

    Consultant

    Ruth trained at the Royal Free Hospital, London, working in Neurology in her first year as a student nurse in 1988 and has never looked back! Ruth is passionate about improving the care of people with a long-term neurological condition and has worked as a specialist nurse since 1998 in Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone disease, Parkinson‘s and Movement Disorders (MD). Ruth has seen the emphasis of managing patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) change from very basic reactive symptom management to pro-active disease modifying therapies and disease modifying lifestyle, giving patients hope.

    Ruth won the Neurology Academy Intermediate MasterClass project in 2019 and Advanced MasterClass project in 2022 with a joint venture mapping pathways for people with MS across Surrey also completed the MS Leaders Academy inaugural course and was part of the lead team who presented their work MS unite at Raising the Bar: July 2019–July 2022 – reflecting… | Neurology Academy; her home urine test kit developed during lockdown has now been launched, published nationally and shortlisted for the QuDoS awards 2023; Ruth was invited by the MS Trust to sit on the MS decisions editorial panel in 2015 (Open Door p13) ; she has worked with NHS Right Care to develop NHS RightCare » Progressive Neurological Conditions Toolkit; and was lead author on 2 documents published nationally in MD management.

    Matthew has worked across a wide range of Social and Healthcare settings, helping individuals, families, teams, and organisations understand how to solve problems, grow, and enhance personal fulfillment and professional performance. Matthew has worked in both clinical and strategic roles, addressing micro- and macro-processes, and utilises his expertise in both these domains to help organizations prepare for, initiate, and deliver change.
